I reached out to Mountain Event Services to inquire about using their services for my upcoming wedding, and unfortunately my experience was disappointing from the start. From the first reply, I felt more like a dollar sign than a client. I outlined exactly what we were looking for and requested to learn more about their pricing by email, but was told I needed to schedule a call before any information would be shared. When I agreed to a call, it became clear the staff member had not reviewed the details I had already provided. Instead of discussing how they could support the event I envisioned, the focus felt heavily on upselling services. Explicitly telling us that our guests are too clueless to know what to do without a DJ holding their hand through the whole event. After the call, I sent an email letting them know we were going in a different direction due to my poor experience. That message seemed to go ignored or unread as I continued to receive repeated follow-ups asking me to secure a date or sign a contract for an event I had already declined. We had an amazing photo booth experience with them at our recent event! Renee ran the photobooth all night and had great energy the whole time. They made it a point to go around and photograph each of our vendors which was incredibly thoughtful. I was in DESPERATE need of finding a DJ for my sister’s wedding because her dj dropped last minute!! I had such a struggle to find a company that was available but also just felt right to be a part of the big day!! I found Mountain Events and talked to Matt about my crisis and he was so kind, helpful and asked all the questions that made me feel so heard!! So I ended up going with this company and will 10/10 recommend them to everyone!! Matt K gave me Dj Erik to play for my sisters wedding and he was the absolute BEST!!! Dj Erik was LOVED BY EVERYONE— a fan favorite for sure!! Before the wedding he was very intentional about responding and thoroughly caring about the weddings vibes/songs and people attending. We had 2 meetings prior to the wedding and that was so helpful!! Not to mention Dj Erik even TRAVELED from Fort Collins to Wyoming for the wedding. And the travel and hotel was all included in the price, no hidden fees!! I’m a professional DJ and had a luxury event in the Denver area. Matthew and his team helped me out by providing all of the proper DJ, sound and lighting equipment. We used Mountain Event Services for lighting for my clients wedding. What we requested was something that Matt had never done before (Uplights in an ombre pattern), and he NAILED it. It was absolutely beautiful and my clients expectations were far exceeded. We can't recommend Matt and his team enough!
